Oliver Krischer is Minister of Environment, Nature and Transport of the State of North Rhine-Wesphalia (MUNV). He was appointed to this position in June 2022 after the formation of a new government coalition in NRW between Germany’s conservative party Christian Democratic Union (CDU) and the Greens (Bündnis 90/Die GRÜNEN). Oliver Krischer became a member of the German Bundestag in 2009 until he was appointed Minister in the state government of North Rhine-Westphalia. During this period he was spokesman of the parlamentary party BÜNDNIS 90/DIE GRÜNEN for the energy sector as well as deputy leader. From Dec. 8, 2021 until June 28, 2022, he was Parliamentary Secretary to the Federal Minister for Economic Affairs and Climate Action.
