Dr. Ursula Sautter, Deputy Mayor of Bonn, holds a PhD in English Studies and pursued her career as a Germany correspondent for the American TIME magazine for almost 15 years. Today, she works for the Catholic Hildegardis-Verein e.V., where she was first responsible for press and public relations and has subsequently acted as a project coordinator for various projects in the field of women in leadership positions and inclusion at universities and in professional life.
Dr. Sautter is a member of the Christian Democrats (CDU) in Bonn. Apart from her political work, she actively engages in volunteer work: as Deputy Chair of UN Women Germany and the Mid-Atlantic Club Bonn, and as a member of the Leukemia Initiative Bonn, the Woelf Society and the Zonta Club in Bonn. For the City of Bonn, she holds additional honorary functions as a juror and legal guardian.
