General Director of Environmental Quality of the Spanish government
Marta Gómez is the General Director of Environmental Quality of the Spanish government since July 2022.
Previously she has carried out her work in the Spanish Climate Change Office of the Spanish government, and as General Director of Circular Economy in the Government of Castilla de la Mancha.
In addition, she has worked in the private sector for more than 15 years in the design and implementation of projects related to civil engineering, water and climate change.
She is currently in charge of the design and implementation of the national environmental policy in Spain, specially, waste management, circular economy and air quality policies.
