Lisa Burke is an acclaimed broadcaster and moderator whose career spans live television, radio, and digital media across Sky News, BBC, Channel 4, RTÉ (Ireland) and RTL Luxembourg. Her work has taken her from breaking newsrooms to international documentaries.

In Luxembourg, Lisa co-created RTL Today, now the country’s leading English-language news platform. She currently hosts and produces The Lisa Burke Show: a weekly chat-show of long-form conversations available on RTL Play, Today Radio, Apple Podcasts and Spotify, which brings together voices and ideas shaping science, society, and culture.

A sought-after event host and moderator across Europe, Lisa brings clarity and warmth to discussions spanning space, science, technology, health, entrepreneurship, law, finance, art, music and European affairs.

Lisa’s writing includes children’s science books and long-term collaboration with Dorling Kindersley as a science consultant and author since 2005. While living in Abu Dhabi, she also contributed features to The National newspaper.

Lisa graduated from Cambridge University with a double first in Natural Sciences, specialising in chemistry alongside physics, maths, and geology, ranking second in her year. Lisa is also a classically trained soprano.

Lisa coaches professionals in public speaking, and is an established voice-over artist.

She also serves on the board of Raregivers, a California-based foundation supporting caregivers of children with rare diseases, and has also contributed to the Cambridge University Communications Working Group.

Originally from Ireland, then London and now based in Luxembourg via Abu Dhabi, Lisa is the mother of two daughters.
