KJESTRUP

Julie Kjestrup has been the President of EuroACE since January 2023 and the Vice-Chair of the Renovate Europe Campaign since January 2022. She is also Head of Policy and Thought Leadership for VELUX, having joined in January 2022.

Prior to that, she was Head of EU Affairs and interim Global Head of Public Affairs and Sustainability at Danfoss, and before that a short stint at the European Copper Institute. Julie also headed the Brussels Energy and Environment practice at APCO Worldwide, a global public affairs and strategic communication agency.

She has extensive experience working on all aspects of advocacy and stakeholder engagement and has witnessed first-hand, and contributed to, the rise of climate and energy topics on the European policy agenda over the past few years.
